Battery Council International (BCI) and its Foundation have announced a $10,000 scholarship program for two students for the 2026-2027 academic year. This initiative, established in honor of BCI's 100th anniversary in March 2024, focuses on students pursuing studies in electrochemistry and related STEM disciplines.
Recipients include Gordon Jarrold from Champaign, Illinois, and Linttavia Taylor from Independence, Louisiana. The scholarships are managed by the University of the Aftermarket Foundation, which supports educational funding in the aftermarket sector. This investment in education may enhance workforce development in the energy storage industry.
