Bedford Metals Completes Phase 3 Field Program at Sheppard Lake Uranium Project, Begins 2026 Drilling
Bedford Metals Corp. has finalized its Phase 3 field program at the Sheppard Lake Uranium Project, achieving 298.5 meters of drilling and identifying multiple anomalous zones. The upcoming 2026 drilling program aims to extend up to 2000 meters on priority targets, bolstering exploration potential in the Athabasca Basin region.

Bedford Metals Corp. completed its third phase of field work at the Sheppard Lake Uranium Project, which included 298.5 meters of diamond drilling and extensive radiometric surveys. The surveys covered 36.4 line-km and identified nine anomalous areas, notably at TZ-1 and TZ-2 west, with peak CPS values up to 10,609 CPS detected.
The drilling program collected 74 samples with a peak CPS reading of 152 and elevated boron levels. A new drilling program for 2026 is set to commence, targeting priority areas. These results indicate strong exploration potential, especially near structural features associated with the Athabasca Basin boundary, which may attract further investment.
