BEL Valves Secures First CCUS Contract in Indonesia
BEL Valves has won its inaugural Carbon Capture Utilisation and Storage (CCUS) contract in Indonesia, supplying valves for a major project aimed at capturing natural gas and isolating CO₂ emissions. This project marks a significant step in BEL Valves' strategy to contribute to global decarbonisation efforts.

BEL Valves, part of British Engines Group, has secured its first CCUS contract in Indonesia. The contract involves supplying a range of API 6D expanding gate valves, sized 8" to 24" and rated to class 1500, for a project targeting the capture of three trillion cubic feet of natural gas and isolating 15 million tonnes of CO₂.
This initiative is significant for BEL Valves' energy transition strategy and follows the establishment of its Hydrogen and Carbon Capture Department last year. The anticipated innovations from this project may influence future CCUS developments globally, particularly in valve performance under low temperature conditions.
