Bergen Engines Secures Over 500MW Orders from Liberty Energy for AI Data Centers
Bergen Engines has received an order from Liberty Energy for more than 500 MW of power generation capacity aimed at AI data centers in the U.S. This initiative supports the need for robust, reliable power infrastructure that meets the demands of advanced computing environments.
Bergen Engines will provide 45 gas generator sets, rated at 11.2 MWe each, totaling over 500 MW installed capacity. The systems can operate independently or in conjunction with the grid, designed specifically for AI data center requirements.
The integration of SHIELDX™ Dynamic Power Stabilization technology from Piller Power Systems enhances the power solution's capability to handle dynamic load changes. Deliveries will begin in the second half of 2027, aligning with the growing demand for flexible power solutions as AI infrastructure expands. This partnership showcases a strategic shift towards dedicated on-site energy solutions to address grid limitations and support next-generation computing.
