Bernard Looney, former bp CEO, will assume the role of Chairman and CEO of Prometheus Hyperscale, overseeing $30B data center projects. His leadership aims to enhance the company's strategy and expedite the development of two major hyperscale centers in Wyoming, crucial for meeting AI compute capacity demands.

Bernard Looney will become Chairman and CEO of Prometheus Hyperscale, focusing on the company's $30 billion data center initiatives in Wyoming. These projects include two campuses in Evanston and Casper, expected to generate approximately 2.5GW of capacity.
Looney, who has served as non-executive Chairman since 2024, succeeds founder Trenton Thornock, who will remain an Advisor. The strategic shift aims to accelerate development in response to rising AI infrastructure needs. Prometheus Hyperscale emphasizes sustainability and efficiency in its operations, positioning itself among the leaders in next-generation data centers.
