Bessemer City Updates Plans for $14 Billion Project Marvel Data Center
Bessemer City has revised its plans for the $14 billion Project Marvel data center in response to community concerns about its location near neighborhoods and the Northern Beltline. The updated proposal will include additional land to enhance buffer zones, with the developer set to purchase this land to facilitate better coordination with the Northern Beltline project. The 18-building campus will span 4.5 million square feet and is expected to create over 300 jobs, with updated plans to be presented at upcoming public meetings.
