The City of Bessemer has revised plans for the $14 billion Project Marvel data center, following community concerns regarding its proximity to neighborhoods and the Northern Beltline. Additional land adjacent to the original site will be included to increase buffer zones.

The developer will purchase this land to address community concerns and improve coordination with the Northern Beltline project. The 18-building campus will cover 4.5 million square feet and is projected to create over 300 jobs. Updated plans will be presented at future public planning and zoning meetings.
