Bharat Forge Signs ₹1,661.9 Crore Small Arms Contract with Indian Defence Ministry

Bharat Forge has signed its largest small arms contract with the Ministry of Defence for ₹1,661.9 crore, supplying over 2.55 lakh CQB carbines to the Indian Army over five years. RITES has received a $3.6 million order from Zimbabwe for Cape Gauge diesel electric locomotives, to be executed within three months.

Dynacons Systems secured a ₹249 crore contract from the Reserve Bank of India for a software project involving maintenance and training over five years. PowerGrid received an award for a 2,000 MWh battery energy storage project in Andhra Pradesh, including a 150 MW/300 MWh system at the Kalikiri substation.

Tata Steel's shares may be affected by a new three-year safeguard duty on steel imports, particularly from China. NBCC (India) sold residential units for ₹1,045.40 crore in Noida and Greater Noida, while Premier Energies reported order inflows of ₹2,307.30 crore in Q3 FY26.
