BHEL Secures ₹2,500 Crore Order from Dangote Petroleum in Nigeria
BHEL has obtained a contract valued between ₹2,000 and ₹2,500 crore from Dangote Petroleum for gas turbine generators. This project is crucial for enhancing energy infrastructure in Nigeria's petroleum and petrochemical sectors.

BHEL has secured a contract from Dangote Petroleum Refinery & Petrochemicals Free Zone Enterprise, valued at ₹2,000-2,500 crore. The agreement, signed on June 2, involves the design, manufacturing, supply, and supervision of eight gas turbine generator packages for a refinery and polypropylene plant in Nigeria's Dangote Industries Free Zone.
The execution period for the project is 26 months from the effective date of the contract. The completion of this project could significantly impact Nigeria's energy capacity, potentially leading to increased industrial productivity in the region.
