BHEL Wins ₹2,500 Crore Gas Turbine Order from Dangote in Nigeria
BHEL has secured a major contract valued at ₹2,000-2,500 crore with Dangote Petroleum Refinery in Nigeria for gas turbine generators. The order includes design, manufacturing, and commissioning of eight packages, marking a significant expansion of BHEL's international operations.

Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) signed a contract with Dangote Petroleum Refinery & Petrochemicals Free Zone Enterprise on June 2, 2026, for the design, supply, and commissioning of eight gas turbine generator packages, valued between ₹2,000 and ₹2,500 crore. The execution period is set for 26 months, and the contract excludes civil works.
BHEL's recent financial performance shows a net profit increase to ₹1,290.47 crore for Q1 2026, reflecting a significant growth trajectory in its power segment. This contract highlights BHEL's expanding presence in global markets and could enhance its competitive positioning in the energy sector.
