BHP Group Appoints Brandon Craig as New CEO to Drive Growth in Copper and Potash
BHP Group has appointed Brandon Craig as CEO effective July 1, succeeding Mike Henry, who led the company since 2020. Craig's focus will be on expanding BHP's copper and potash operations while addressing challenges in iron ore demand and rising costs. Under Henry's leadership, BHP became the world's largest copper producer, emphasizing strategic portfolio changes. Craig, a BHP veteran since 1999, will receive an annual salary of $1.9 million and will oversee the company's next growth phase.
