BidItUp Auctions Worldwide is set to auction assets from the XALT Energy lithium-ion battery plant in Midland, Michigan, in a live virtual sale from March 31 to April 8, 2026. The auction features a complete lithium-ion pouch cell manufacturing ecosystem, including automated assembly lines, cleanrooms, and production systems capable of solvent-based and aqueous processing.

Key items include equipment from Thyssenkrupp, Tesla, Bühler, and over 40 robots from FANUC, ABB, and KUKA. The facility, originally established by Dow Kokam, has been operational for over a decade and was rebranded as XALT Energy in 2013. The auction represents an opportunity for manufacturers to acquire advanced production infrastructure.
