Bilfinger Completes Major Insulation Project at Warsaw Waste-to-Energy Facility
Bilfinger has finalized a significant insulation project at Poland's largest waste-to-energy facility, enhancing operational efficiency. This initiative supports Poland's energy transition by converting 265,000 tons of waste annually into electricity and heat for households.

Bilfinger completed a large-scale insulation project at the MPO Warszawa waste-to-energy facility in Warsaw, executed from 2023 to 2025. The project involved insulating 22,000 square meters, requiring 31 truckloads of specialized materials.
This facility processes approximately 265,000 tons of waste per year, generating electricity and heat for numerous households. The energy contributes to the city's electricity grid and district heating network, aiding Poland's shift toward sustainable energy sources. The insulation work improves the plant's operational efficiency and sustainability, highlighting Bilfinger's role in advancing circular economy practices in the industrial sector.
