Bimergen Awards 40 MW Texas Battery Energy Storage Contract to TruGrid
Bimergen Energy Corporation has awarded a construction contract for a 40 MW / 80 MWh battery energy storage system in Texas to TruGrid. The projects, located in Port Lavaca, Corpus Christi, Victoria, and McAllen, involve eight late-stage distributed generation projects in the ERCOT South region. Bimergen aims to add 2 GWh of additional BESS projects, targeting $300 to $400 million in annual energy arbitrage revenue within three to four years.

Bimergen Energy Corporation has awarded a construction contract to TruGrid for a 40 MW / 80 MWh battery energy storage system in Texas, comprising projects in Port Lavaca, Corpus Christi, Victoria, and McAllen. This contract follows Bimergen’s acquisition of eight late-stage 9.9 MW distributed generation battery projects in the ERCOT South region.
TruGrid will handle all engineering and construction activities for the projects. Bimergen is also developing an additional 2 GWh in BESS projects, aiming for $300 to $400 million in annual revenue from energy arbitrage within three to four years.
