Bitdeer Technologies Group completed a 40 MW bitcoin mining site in Oromia, Ethiopia, with an additional 20 MW in progress, expected to be operational in Q1 2026. The company mined 636 bitcoins in December 2025, a 339% increase year over year, with a self-mining hashrate of 55.2 EH/s.

Globally, Bitdeer has 1,658 MW of total electrical capacity online and 1,344 MW in the pipeline. Bitdeer is also expanding its AI data center capacity in Malaysia and other locations, deploying NVIDIA GB200 infrastructure.
