BL Harbert International LLC, based in Birmingham, Alabama, received a $171,506,091 firm-fixed-price contract for converting existing administrative space into a data center and laboratories in Huntsville, Alabama. The contract was awarded after three bids were solicited online.

Work is expected to be completed by April 21, 2028, with funding sourced from fiscal 2024 and 2025 military construction and fiscal 2026 research, development, test and evaluation budgets. The total cumulative value of the contract is $194,861,091.

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Mobile District, is overseeing the contract (W91278-26-C-A004). Additionally, Affirmative Solutions LLC of Cheyenne, Wyoming has been awarded a $49,500,000 contract for medical and surgical supplies as part of a multiple award contract with the Defense Logistics Agency.
