Black Canyon Confirms DSO Potential at Wandanya Manganese Project in Western Australia
Black Canyon has identified early-stage direct shipping ore (DSO) potential at the Wandanya manganese project in Western Australia. Recent metallurgical tests showed the ability to produce low-cost DSO products with low levels of deleterious elements. The results indicate a simple geological model conducive to cost-effective mining. A second stage of metallurgical testwork is underway, and a 15,000m drilling program is planned to expand the current delineated area.

Black Canyon has confirmed the potential for early-stage direct shipping ore (DSO) development at the Wandanya manganese project in Western Australia. Recent metallurgical test results indicated the production of low-cost DSO manganese and iron products, with low concentrations of deleterious elements.
The project benefits from a simple geological model, enabling low-cost mining. A second stage of metallurgical testwork using heavy liquid separation techniques is in progress, alongside a planned 15,000m drilling program to explore and delineate further mineralization in the area.
