Blencowe Resources aims for pilot production at its Orom Cross graphite project in Uganda by 2026, following significant achievements in 2025, including a robust Definitive Feasibility Study. The study confirmed Orom Cross as one of the largest graphite resources globally, with potential free cash flow of up to two billion USD over 15 years.

The company engaged with local communities and secured support from Ugandan government departments. Blencowe received a five million USD grant from the United States Development Finance Corporation and a funding letter of intent from the African Finance Corporation. Plans include a downstream purification facility in Uganda to produce battery-grade spherical purified graphite, enhancing competitiveness in the growing battery materials market.
