Blue Origin announced plans to launch its TeraWave satellite network by the end of 2027 to compete with SpaceX and Amazon. The network will consist of 5,408 satellites deployed in low and medium orbits using the New Shepard rocket.

TeraWave aims to provide high-speed data connectivity for businesses, data centers, and government entities, with a target of approximately 100,000 customers. The service will not be available to the general public. Deployment is set to begin in Q4 2027.
