BNI Provides IDR 657.8 Billion Credit for ION Network's Submarine Cable and Data Center Development
PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk has provided IDR 657.8 billion in credit to PT Parsaoran Global Datatrans (ION Network) for the development of the Submarine Backbone ION CS-1, a submarine fiber optic cable system linking to Singapore. This financing aims to bolster Indonesia's digital infrastructure and enhance national data centers, ensuring reliable connectivity for various sectors. The cooperation agreement was signed in East Jakarta, marking a significant step in expanding network capacity and strengthening international connectivity.

PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk has granted IDR 657.8 billion in credit to PT Parsaoran Global Datatrans (ION Network) for the development of the Submarine Backbone ION CS-1, a submarine fiber optic cable system connecting to a hub in Singapore, and the strengthening of national-scale data centers. The cooperation agreement was signed at ION Network's operational office in Ciracas, East Jakarta. This strategic partnership aims to expedite network capacity expansion and ensure reliable, secure, and sustainable connectivity for businesses, government, strategic industries, and retail sectors. The ION CS-1 project is positioned as a strategic initiative to enhance Indonesia's international connectivity through integrated submarine routes with regional hubs in Singapore.
