In 2025, Bosch Home Comfort Group maintained market share growth in Europe's heat pump and air conditioning segments despite a challenging global HVAC market. The integration of residential and light commercial HVAC business from Johnson Controls and Hitachi was completed in January 2026, leading to initial synergy benefits.
Bosch invested approximately 200 million euros in 2025 to enhance production and testing capacities across the Americas, Asia, and Europe. The HVAC market grew by 1% globally, with a notable 47% rise in heat pump demand, particularly in Germany, where heat pumps surpassed gas heating systems for the first time.
Bosch anticipates gradual market recovery in 2026 and aims for upper single-digit growth annually. The acquisition of US Air Conditioning Distributors in October 2025 bolstered Bosch's presence in North America, while significant growth in air conditioning solutions is expected in EMEA and APAC regions.
