Bowling Green Constructs Smaller Data Center in Woodbridge Business Park
A smaller data center is under construction in Bowling Green's Woodbridge Business Park, set to be completed by April. The facility will occupy 61,554 square feet on a 12-acre site and will require significantly less energy than the nearby Meta data center. It is expected to use around 6 megawatts of electricity, with negligible water usage, contrasting sharply with Meta's projected 180 MW peak electricity demand and substantial water needs. Developed by Oppidan, the facility will create 12 jobs and has received a 10-year tax abatement.

A smaller data center is being built in Bowling Green's Woodbridge Business Park, projected for completion in April. The facility will cover 61,554 square feet on a 12-acre site and will use about 6 megawatts of electricity, far less than the Meta data center nearby, which requires up to 180 MW.
The Bowling Green site will use negligible water, unlike Meta's expected daily usage of 600,000 gallons. Developed by Oppidan, the data center will employ 12 people and has been granted a 100% tax abatement for 10 years. Local contractor Rudolph Libbe is constructing the building, located at 2501 Woodstream Drive.
