Boyd Corporation has finalized the sale of its Thermal business to Eaton for $9.5 billion, as announced on November 3rd, 2025. Following the sale, Boyd's Engineered Materials business will function as an independent entity supported by Goldman Sachs Alternatives, continuing to develop advanced technologies for sectors like medical wearables and AI data centers.
The divestiture does not affect the operations of Boyd's Engineered Materials division, which has historically maintained separate leadership and support teams from the Thermal business. Customers will continue to receive high-quality service.
