B&Q, Hubbub, and TSB Collaborate on Energy Efficiency Initiative in West Yorkshire
B&Q, in partnership with Hubbub and TSB, has launched the Thermal Detectives project in Bradford to address household energy inefficiencies. The initiative aims to raise awareness about energy waste and promote actions that can lower energy consumption and costs.

The Thermal Detectives project, initiated by Hubbub and backed by B&Q and TSB, offers Bradford residents thermal imaging cameras to identify heat loss in their homes. This effort aims to combat the estimated 25% of heating expenses lost through inefficiencies, providing practical advice to enhance energy efficiency.
B&Q emphasizes its commitment to improving energy management for consumers by making insulation and draught-proofing products more accessible. Insights from the project have been compiled in a report by Hubbub, serving as a resource for households looking to reduce energy waste. Separately, Alex Robinson has joined Wrap as Chief Programs Officer, focusing on initiatives to enhance recycling and promote circular economy practices.
