Brandon Craig will become CEO of BHP Group Limited on July 1, 2026, succeeding Mike Henry. Craig has over 25 years of experience at BHP, having previously led the Western Australia iron ore business. During Henry's tenure, BHP transformed into the world's largest copper producer, achieving over half of its recent earnings from copper.

Under his leadership, BHP established a focus on safety, high-performance culture, and operational excellence, achieving an average total shareholder return of ~17% per annum and returning ~US$80 billion to shareholders. Henry will support Craig until November 30, 2026.
