Brescia's Urban Regeneration at Ex Ideal Clima: Data Center Progress and Hydrogen Storage Uncertainty
The Municipality of Brescia is focused on urban regeneration at the ex Ideal Clima site, with the Borsoni Theater completed and the Intred Data Center awaiting strategic environmental impact assessment (VAS). The hydrogen storage project linked to H2Iseo faces uncertainty, as Urban Planning Councillor Michela Tiboni has no updates on the project's conference of services.

Brescia's urban regeneration project at the ex Ideal Clima site includes the completed Borsoni Theater and the pending Intred Data Center, which is awaiting the conclusion of the strategic environmental impact assessment (VAS). The timeline for the Data Center remains unclear until the VAS is completed, which is crucial for assessing project compatibility.
The project will cover approximately 34,000 square meters, over 51% of the total area, with a building incidence around 0.30, leaving about 70% for public infrastructure and open spaces. However, a significant portion of green space will be private, serving mitigation purposes alongside parking, pedestrian, and cycling paths.
