Brevard Public Schools Receives $2M for Aviation Program at Space Coast Junior/Senior High School
Brevard Public Schools has received over $2 million in federal funding to launch an Aviation Assembly and Fabrication Program at Space Coast Junior/Senior High School. Secured through Congressman Mike Haridopolos, the initiative aims to enhance career and technical education in North Brevard, providing students with training in skills essential for Florida's aerospace and advanced manufacturing sectors. This program is designed to prepare students for high-wage careers in aviation and engineering immediately after graduation or through further education.

Brevard Public Schools (BPS) has been awarded over $2 million in federal funding to establish an Aviation Assembly and Fabrication Program at Space Coast Junior/Senior High School. This funding, secured through Congressman Mike Haridopolos, aims to expand career and technical education in North Brevard, mirroring the successful aviation program at Eau Gallie High School.
The new program will provide training in welding, surface preparation, and maintenance practices to meet the needs of Florida's aerospace sector and advanced manufacturing economy.
