BriHyNergy Ships 15MW PEM Electrolyser System to Romania
BriHyNergy has delivered a 15MW PEM electrolyser system to Romania, marking its transition to full system deliveries in Europe. This shipment aligns with the growing demand for hydrogen production in industrial sectors.

BriHyNergy has shipped a 15MW PEM electrolyser system, consisting of three 5MW stacks, to a project in Romania, indicating a strategic shift from stack-only deliveries to complete systems. The project, expected to be operational by the end of 2026, aims to supply hydrogen for steel, chemicals, and heavy-duty mobility applications.
This move follows the company's previous delivery of 3MW stacks to an undisclosed European client in November. BriHyNergy plans to establish 1GW of manufacturing capacity across Europe and South America, complementing its existing 1GW in China, driven by domestic competition and the need for sustainable margins. The global electrolyser manufacturing capacity reached 61GW, highlighting a gap with installed projects, which totaled only 2.15GW.
