Bronco Resources announced the completion of a ground magnetic survey for its Placer Mountain Gold Project on March 10, 2026, enabled by low snowpack and mild winter conditions. The survey aims to identify gold-bearing structures, with a larger phase planned.
On March 11, NovaRed Mining proposed four surveys over 11,500 hectares near Copper Mountain Mine, separated by Highway 3. The surveys will explore sections including Lamont Ridge and the Plume Tenure, which had a mineral title application pending as of December 4, 2025. Previous soil samples in the area have detected copper, and NovaRed's surveys, covering approximately 1,300 hectares, are scheduled for spring 2026.
