Bulgaria Enhances Space Collaboration with China
Bulgarian scientists are expanding partnerships with China in space research, focusing on lunar base projects and UAV applications. This collaboration includes joint efforts with the China National Space Administration and the Chinese Academy of Sciences.

Bulgaria's Space Research and Technology Institute (SRTI-BAS) is strengthening its collaboration with China's space sector, notably through a memorandum signed in 2013. This partnership encompasses projects aimed at establishing lunar bases and researching unmanned aerial vehicles for urban use.
SRTI-BAS has also engaged in joint initiatives with the China National Space Administration and the Chinese Academy of Sciences. Recent events, including screenings of Chinese space documentaries, have increased public awareness of China's space endeavors in Bulgaria. Enhanced collaboration could lead to significant advancements in both countries' space capabilities.
