BW Signs MoUs to Enhance Solar Energy Infrastructure in Vietnam's Industrial Parks
BW Industrial Development JSC has signed two MoUs with BV Power and VSSES to upgrade energy infrastructure in Vietnam. The collaboration aims to support hyperscale data centers with a long-term goal of providing 700 MW of electricity. The initial phase will deliver 120 MW in the next 12 months, while a solar rooftop project at BW Bau Bang will generate up to 40.5 million kWh annually. BW plans to leverage its significant land assets to expand renewable energy capacity beyond 100 MWp.

On March 24, 2026, BW Industrial Development JSC announced two significant MoUs with BV Power and VSSES to enhance energy infrastructure in Vietnam. The partnership with BV Power focuses on developing large-scale electricity infrastructure at BW Supply Chain City, targeting the needs of tech companies for stable and flexible power.
The project aims to provide an initial capacity of 120 MW within 12 months, with a long-term target of 700 MW over 3-5 years. Concurrently, BW will implement a 30 MWp solar rooftop system at BW Bau Bang, expected to generate 40.5 million kWh annually, with plans to expand capacity to over 100 MWp. This strategic infrastructure development positions BW to meet the growing demand for data centers in Vietnam.
