C29 Metals Expands into Namibia with Strategic Acquisition of Copper and Gold Projects
C29 Metals has acquired a majority interest in exploration assets in Namibia's copper and gold sectors, focusing on the Kopermyn copper project in the Otavi copper belt. This acquisition positions the company to benefit from rising demand for copper linked to electrification and sustained gold prices.

C29 Metals has secured a majority stake in exploration assets across three areas in Namibia, targeting copper and gold projects. The Kopermyn copper project, located in the Tier 1 Otavi copper belt, has confirmed high-grade mineralization through historical drilling and shows potential for expansion.
The company aims to leverage modern exploration techniques to develop these assets, with drilling set to commence soon. Funding for this acquisition includes capital raising and a director-backed convertible loan. The strategic entry into Namibia aligns with the growing demand for critical minerals essential for energy transition.
