Cafca to Complete 1.2MW Solar Project by September 2026 Amid Rising Costs
Cafca Limited plans to finish its 1.2-megawatt solar project by September 30, 2026, to enhance production efficiency and reduce costs. For the fiscal year ending September 30, 2025, the company reported expenditures of US$36.68 million, up from US$18.99 million in the previous year, with the largest cost being sales at US$30.47 million.
Employee benefits also rose to US$4.58 million. Cafca is investing in safer production processes, including a new stranding machine and expanding its Electrolysis Plant. Despite a 68% drop in profit after tax to US$1.86 million due to increased competition from cheaper imports, Cafca aims to enhance sustainability through solar energy integration and improved operational efficiency. As of September 2025, the company reported US$4.48 in current assets for every US$1 of current liabilities.
