CALB, XDLE, ZOOLNASM, and Nebula Advance Energy Storage Projects in China and Portugal

CALB launched its Power and Energy Storage Battery Base in Zigong, Sichuan on January 23, with completion expected this year. CALB's Wuhan Base Phase IV aims for 400,000 battery PACK units annually, starting production in 2026.

CALB signed a €2.067 billion contract for a lithium battery factory in Sines, Portugal, receiving €350 million in incentives. XDLE's Phase I of a 12GW lithium-ion energy storage project in Hebei, with a RMB 1.35 billion investment, will produce 4GW of batteries annually.

ZOOLNASM's Meishan project, with a RMB 2 billion investment, plans for 30,000 tons of cathode materials and 5GWh of sodium-ion battery PACK systems annually. Nebula Services broke ground on a new energy storage manufacturing center in Ningde, Fujian, set to include various intelligent production lines and a lithium battery testing lab.
