Call to Return Nyinahin Bauxite Lease to Rocksure International in Ghana
Rocksure International, owned by Mr. Kwasi Osei Ofori, was selected as the Strategic Partner for the Nyinahin Bauxite Concession. Concerns have arisen regarding the Minerals Commission's claim that the Lease Agreement was not ratified by Parliament, rendering it void. The partnership aims to build an Alumina Refinery in Ghana, contributing to economic growth and job creation. There are calls for the government to reverse the decision and restore the lease to Rocksure International, especially in light of a recent ratification of a Lithium Lease for another company.

Rocksure International has been designated as the Strategic Partner for the Nyinahin Bauxite Concession in Ghana. Concerns have been raised regarding the Minerals Commission's assertion that the Lease Agreement was void due to lack of parliamentary ratification.
This partnership, established with GIADEC, is intended to support the development of an Alumina Refinery, which would enhance value addition to bauxite and create jobs. Calls have emerged for the government to restore the lease to Rocksure International, particularly as another company's Lithium Lease was ratified recently, highlighting potential inconsistencies in the handling of mining leases.
