Camino Minerals Starts Drilling at Costa de Cobre IOCG Copper Project in Peru
Camino Minerals Corp. initiates drilling at Costa de Cobre, a significant IOCG copper discovery in Peru, under a joint venture with Nittetsu Mining Co., Ltd. The drilling aims to expand known mineralized zones and assess high-priority structural corridors, with implications for copper production efficiency and logistics in the region.

Camino Minerals Corp. has commenced a drilling campaign at the Costa de Cobre IOCG copper project in Peru, previously known as the Los Chapitos project. The joint venture with Nittetsu Mining Co., Ltd. will see Camino as the operator with a 65% interest.
The campaign includes 1,100 meters of drilling, focusing on copper oxide near the surface and sulfide at depth, particularly along the Diva and La Estancia fault systems. Recent results show significant copper and silver intersections from prior drilling, enhancing the project's high-grade potential. The proposed San Juan de Marcona Port, located 125 km away, aims to improve logistics for mining operations, potentially increasing economic viability and competitiveness of copper production in the region.
