The Government of Canada has selected Reaction Dynamics to develop a domestic orbital launch capability, awarding the company $8.3 million under the Launch the North initiative, part of a $105 million program. The project aims for a maiden launch by 2028.

Ottawa is also investing $200 million in a launch pad at Spaceport Nova Scotia to enhance satellite deployment capabilities. This dual investment strategy promotes sovereign access to space, supporting military and civilian applications while generating local economic growth. Reaction Dynamics will focus on a mobile, containerized launch system designed for rapid deployment.
