Canada Awards $8.3M to Reaction Dynamics for Domestic Orbital Launch Capability Development
The Government of Canada has awarded Reaction Dynamics $8.3 million under the $105 million Launch the North initiative to develop a domestic orbital launch capability, targeting a maiden launch in 2028. The funding supports development of a transportable, containerized launch system aimed at enhancing Canada's sovereign access to space. Additionally, Ottawa plans to invest $200 million in a new space launch pad in Nova Scotia, further strengthening national aerospace infrastructure and local economies.
