Canada Invests $1.3 Million in Dartmouth Firms for Modernization and Expansion
The Canadian government, through the Regional Tariff Response Initiative, is investing nearly $1.3 million to support three Dartmouth businesses—Outdoor-Fit Exercise Systems Inc., Reftek Systems Inc., and Aurea Technologies Inc.—in their modernization efforts. The investments aim to enhance manufacturing capabilities, establish a sensor lab, and reduce production costs, ultimately strengthening productivity and supply chains in Atlantic Canada.

The Canadian government announced a $1.3 million investment through the Regional Tariff Response Initiative to support three Dartmouth firms. Outdoor-Fit Exercise Systems Inc. will receive $770,250 to upgrade its manufacturing facility with automation equipment.
Reftek Systems Inc. will get $267,500 to hire staff and set up a specialized sensor lab to enhance supply chain reliability. Aurea Technologies Inc. will obtain $250,180 to reduce production costs for its Shine 2.0 turbine and support global business development. These investments aim to modernize operations and improve productivity in Atlantic Canada.
