Canterra Minerals Advances Drilling and Geophysical Surveys in Newfoundland Projects
Canterra Minerals has completed 2,386 meters of winter drilling at its Buchans Critical Minerals Project and initiated a high-resolution airborne magnetic survey at the Wilding Gold Project. Assay results are expected in Q2-Q3 2026, which will inform future drilling targets for critical minerals and gold exploration.
Canterra Minerals Corporation has completed winter diamond drilling at its Buchans Critical Minerals Project, encompassing 8 holes drilled over a total of 2,386 meters, with assay results expected in Q2 2026. Concurrently, a high-resolution airborne magnetic survey has been initiated over the Wilding Gold Project, which spans 55 kilometers along the same structural corridor as Equinox Gold's Valentine Mine.
Assays from both the Buchans and Wilding projects are anticipated in Q2-Q3 2026, with subsequent diamond drilling planned for H2 2026 to refine targets in the company's critical minerals portfolio. Canterra is also consolidating historical data from its Victoria Lake Supergroup assets to identify new drilling opportunities. The company has opted into a reporting exemption under the Coordinated Blanket Order 51-933 to streamline its financial disclosures for 2026.
