CaoCao Launches Electric Robovan Service in Changsha
CaoCao has officially launched its electric robovan service in Changsha, China, on July 15, deploying autonomous delivery vehicles. This move aims to validate a scalable business model for urban logistics, as the company targets a fleet of 100,000 robovans by 2030.

CaoCao, supported by Geely Group, initiated its robovan service in Changsha, a city of 10 million, on July 15. The robovans, based on the Farizon Shentong electric van, operate with Level 4 autonomy and have a range of 200-220 km, suitable for urban environments and last-mile delivery.
This integrated Robotics-as-a-Service (RaaS) model is managed by CaoCao Mobility, a startup backed by Geely. The launch aims to validate a commercially replicable model in other Chinese cities. Initially focusing on high-frequency logistics scenarios, the company plans to expand to on-demand delivery services. CaoCao envisions deploying 100,000 robovans and an equal number of robotaxis by 2030, potentially reshaping urban mobility and logistics efficiency.
