The Puebla State Government confirmed that the former Finance Ministry building will not be abandoned despite structural limitations. CAPCEE is one of the main options to occupy the site, alongside other state administrative departments.

Governor Alejandro Armenta Mier is evaluating the distribution of spaces for optimal use. The new location on Avenida Cúmulo de Virgo will include a certified Data Center, a cutting-edge seismic design, and a wastewater treatment plant.

The investment for this new 10-level building is 1.12 billion pesos. Additionally, the government is negotiating parking spaces at the BUAP’s Cultural Complex exclusively for finance workers due to operational needs and high traffic from over 2,600 employees and numerous users.
