Cape EMS Expands Renewable Energy Platform for Southeast Asia's EV and Battery Storage Demand

ENERGY STORAGE

Cape EMS Bhd is expanding its renewable energy platform via Cape Renewables Sdn Bhd to capture infrastructure opportunities in Southeast Asia. This initiative is part of the 'CEB 2.0' strategy, moving beyond traditional manufacturing into renewable energy, battery storage, and EV charging solutions.

Cape Renewables will provide integrated micro-grid systems to help industries reduce costs and transition to low-carbon operations. The urgency for this transition is driven by global supply chain vulnerabilities and rising fuel costs. Cape EMS is partnering with AIDC Taiwan to enhance technological capabilities for sustainable energy solutions and is developing an EV charging infrastructure mapping platform in line with Malaysia's National Energy Transition Roadmap.
