Cape Town Initiates Major Sewer and Flood Mitigation Projects in Strand and Helderberg
Cape Town's Water and Sanitation Directorate is engaging residents on significant infrastructure investments in Strand and Helderberg, focusing on sewer, wastewater, and flood alleviation projects. Key initiatives include the R190 million rehabilitation of the Trappies bulk sewer, R23.6 million capital sewer projects in Strand, and R14.9 million upgrades in Helderberg. Additionally, the Gordon's Bay pump station is being upgraded, and flood mitigation efforts are underway on the Lourens and Sir Lowry's Pass Rivers.
