He was informed about the hospital's challenges, including a shortage of essential medications. Czerny also emphasized the importance of a compassionate approach in healthcare. During his visit, he planted a tree and laid the foundation stone for a data center funded by the UN Development Programme. He is in Chad for the 13th plenary assembly of the Association of Episcopal Conferences of Central Africa (ACERAC).
