Carrier Targets $1.5 Billion in Data Center Cooling Revenue with Expansion into South Korea
Carrier aims for $1.5 billion in data center cooling revenue in 2026, with a strategic entry into the South Korean market. The company is increasing production capacity and introducing advanced cooling technologies to meet rising demands from AI-focused data centers.

Carrier Corporation is targeting $1.5 billion in revenue from its data center cooling segment in 2026, reflecting a 50% growth from the previous year. Autech Carrier, a subsidiary, will showcase cooling solutions at the Korea Refrigeration, Heating, and Air-Conditioning Exhibition in October, marking its entry into South Korea's data center market.
Carrier has quadrupled its data center chiller production capacity over the last two years and is transitioning some of its Gwangju factory operations to focus on data center chillers. This shift is in response to the increasing demand for advanced cooling systems as AI data centers prioritize reliable cooling infrastructure. The transition to liquid cooling technology is expected to accelerate in South Korea, potentially capturing up to 30% of the market within 5 years.
