Casa dos Ventos Signs $500 Million Renewable Energy Contract with Ascenty
Casa dos Ventos and Ascenty have signed a $500 million renewable energy supply contract, the largest of its kind for data centers in Latin America. The partnership will involve the development of a wind farm and a solar plant, set to begin operations in 2027, with a total capacity exceeding 1.5 GW. This agreement follows Casa dos Ventos' previous collaborations, including a project with ByteDance in Ceará.

Casa dos Ventos and Ascenty announced a renewable energy supply contract exceeding $500 million, marking the largest renewable energy deal for data centers in Latin America. Ascenty will partner on two new projects, a wind farm and a solar plant, expected to start operations in 2027, with a combined capacity of over 1.5 GW, providing 110 MWm to Ascenty. Casa dos Ventos, partnered with TotalEnergies, is expanding its structured contracts for large consumers and previously partnered with ByteDance for a data center project in Ceará.
