Catena Reports SEK 141 Million Profit in Q2 Driven by Rental Growth
Catena achieved a profit of SEK 141 million in Q2, reversing last year's loss, supported by a 19% rise in rental income. The firm's strong performance is attributed to property acquisitions, completed developments, and increased occupancy.

In the second quarter, Catena reported a profit of SEK 141 million, a significant turnaround from a loss during the same period last year. The company's rental income surged by 19% year-over-year, while net operating income increased by 17%.
For the first half of the year, rental income totaled SEK 602 million, with net operating income at SEK 482 million. This growth was driven by property acquisitions and completed development projects, along with a raised occupancy rate of 95%.
The demand from public sector tenants is enhancing revenue stability, and Catena is exploring opportunities to expand data center capacity at its Almnäs site in Södertälje. Additionally, lower loan margins have positively impacted financial performance.
