CATL has established two wholly-owned subsidiaries, Quanzhou Contemporary Amperex Technology Limited and Suzhou Contemporary Amperex Technology Limited, each with a registered capital of RMB 2 billion. Both companies will focus on battery manufacturing, specialized electronic materials, and related services.

These entities enhance CATL's industrial presence in Quanzhou, Fujian, and Suzhou, Jiangsu. Concurrently, CALB has founded Jiangmen Kaibo Energy Storage Co., Ltd., also 100% owned, for energy storage equipment manufacturing, and its subsidiary Heshan Kaibo Energy Storage Technology Co., Ltd. This expansion strengthens CALB's energy storage capabilities in South China.
