CATL CEO Robin Zeng Advocates for 'Zero Carbon' Technology at Dubai Summits
At the World Laureate Summit and World Governments Summit in Dubai on February 3, CATL CEO Robin Zeng discussed the role of 'Zero Carbon' technology in the energy transition. He cited an 80% decrease in the costs of LFP batteries and solar systems over the last decade.
CATL has implemented solar-plus-storage systems in Chile and the Democratic Republic of Congo, reducing energy costs significantly. In Pakistan, CATL's solutions support local cement plants. Zeng noted the emergence of decentralized energy systems and CATL's innovations in energy storage technology to stabilize power grids. He emphasized the importance of recycling materials for sustainable energy and ongoing advancements in energy technologies.
