CDC Approves 630 Investment Projects in Cambodia Worth Nearly US$10 Billion for 2025
The Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC) approved 630 investment projects in 2025, totaling nearly US$10 billion and expected to create approximately 438,000 jobs. This represents a 52% increase in registered projects and a 45% rise in investment capital compared to 2024.
Among these projects, 387 are outside Special Economic Zones (SEZs) and 243 are within them. Key projects include investments in agriculture, the Funan Techo Canal, hydropower, renewable energy, healthcare, dry ports, and manufacturing, such as automobile tire and medical equipment factories. Additionally, 228 industrial projects attracted around US$763 million, primarily from Chinese investors, creating about 106,000 jobs.
