Ceará Signs MoU with ENBPar and Itaipu Parquetec for Green Hydrogen Initiatives
Ceará's Government, through the Secretariat of Economic Development, signed a Memorandum of Understanding with ENBPar and Itaipu Parquetec to collaborate on green hydrogen initiatives. The H2V-Education Pilot Plant, with a capacity of up to 300 kW, aims to integrate research and training to strengthen the renewable energy sector in Ceará. The partnership also explores future projects in urban mobility using hydrogen technology.

The Government of Ceará signed a Memorandum of Understanding with ENBPar and Itaipu Parquetec to advance green hydrogen initiatives. The H2V-Education Pilot Plant will have an installed capacity of up to 300 kW, focusing on research, development, and professional training.
The project includes technological laboratories for practical training in hydrogen production and aims to enhance the renewable energy chain in the state. Future applications may include hydrogen technology in urban mobility, particularly in heavy vehicles and school buses. The partnership aims to position Ceará as a leader in the green economy and sustainable innovation.
